Program 1: Planning and Executing an Imminent Threat Operational Exercise with Multiple Agencies
On June 11, 2016, FOX Security Operations successfully completed an Imminent Threat Operational Exercise with participation
from multiple Los Angeles agencies, dependent internal departments and volunteers. We will discuss the planning, logistics
and level of business participation, show the FOX Imminent Threat Operational Exercise video and discuss the lessons learned
and benefits of conducting this large scale Exercise.

This session will provide a high-level overview of Southern California’s Business Resiliency Program and how the adoption
of national standards in emergency management has increased response capabilities. We will take a closer look at SCE’s
training and exercise initiatives which have grown to include stakeholder participation from across the whole community
of partners at the local, state and federal levels.

Crisis Management Business Continuity Manager – Capital Group
As a Crisis Management Business Continuity Manager, you will responsible for managing crisis response and ongoing
CMBC program support for Capital Group(CG) offices.
You will develop and maintain business continuity and emergency exercises, plans, policies, and procedures to ensure
the continuity of business processes across CG and ensure plans adequately address company requirements and established timeframes.
You will play a key role in identifying causes, documenting procedures, reporting critical department processes and resource
requirements, including but not limited to timeframes, recovery windows, and priorities.
You will manage the CMBC associates, provide project management leadership, cross-organizational coordination, and direct crisis management and
business continuity activities during events.
Responsibilities: (partial – see web site for more information)
Lead and manage a team responsible for the technology implementation and utilization for CMBC globally
· Provide direction and oversight for utilization of Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and automated notification systems
· Lead CG mobile communication and location strategy and implementation
Oversee and manage site efforts across CG
· Coordinate with cross-site peers to ensure consistency and recovery objectives are met
Audit BC activities and plans
· Oversee documentation library and ensure materials are updated and exercised according to department objectives
· A minimum of three years in Business Continuity and/or Crisis Management is preferred
· Experience in the financial services/asset management industry is a plus
· An undergraduate degree is required; certification in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and/or project manager is a plus
· Demonstrate the ability to effectively plan and manage the work of diverse, multiple teams
Working conditions: Required to respond and/or work outside of normal business hours, including travel to local offices
